Founder/Owner/Operator of Sun Dog Training

Jerry is the owner of Sun Dog Training located in Bruce Township, Michigan. Jerry has been working with dogs since the early 1960's. 2023 will be a milestone for Jerry and Street Dog Competitions marking 20 years and 75 events being held.  His dedication to this format of competition is truly remarkable and appreciated by all. 

 Owner & Operator of OUT!cast K9 / VPK Kennels

Chris is the founder and president of OUT!cast K9 and Co-Owner of Validus Pastoris Kennels located in Woodland, Alabama. Chris became involved with Street Dog Competitions in 2015 when he met Jerry and started working with him. Chris has been breeding, training and competing with working line German Shepherds since 2013. 

Vance has been working with Jerry for 18 years. Vance has been working and training dogs for 36 years. Vance adds a little excitement to every event. Vance's energy level is always upbeat and provides a constant supply of enthusiasm everyone feeds on. When competing, you can always count on him to keep the morale up of his team. 

Joe brings in a lot of experience with working dogs. Joe has been decoying for Street Dog Competitions for 2 years and has strived to become the best he can by pushing himself every time he steps onto the field. His energy level is great and he can get into any character that needs to be played effortlessly.  Joe plays dual roles during competitions, decoying and handling his GSD (Ronin) in the Advanced class.

Alisha hit the door running last year. She is an up and coming decoy that has shown courage, commitment and dedication to getting the best out of the dog. Along with her decoying duties, she also handles her Doberman "Marla". She got second place in her first competition and is working to improve upon that this coming April. Looking forward to seeing a lot of Alisha out on the field.
